I notice from your picture that the bottom hinge side of the door looks like it has no clearance.

As the hinge leaves bind on the nail set they will spread slightly which will push the door over and close the gap on the latch side.
If you have gaps around an outside door you could be losing up to 15 percent of the money you spend heating your home by allowing heated air to blow outside.
To readjust the door frame you have to remove the trim along the latch side to get at the shims.
If the gap on your door exceeds this.
You could remove the door trim on the catch side and see if you can figure a way to move the jamb over closer to the door.
If i need to shrink a gap on the hinge side i pull the hinge pin in the offending area and gently bend the barrels of the jamb leaf slightly toward the jamb with a small adjustable wrench.
This may be due to the fact that the hinges were inset too far into the door and or frame.
Other than replacing the entire door frame and door it will be difficult to make a satisfactory repair.
The installer should have adjusted the frame with shims to leave about a 1 8 in.
Sometimes the gap is far too wide.
How to fix a gap in an outside door.
A properly installed door features a 1 8 inch gap along the latch side to allow the door to swing and function correctly.
If this is the case it is a good bet that this is part of the reason for the excessive gap on the door latch side.
Since the gap on the catch side is uniform from top to bottom it would appear that your door opening is an odd size.
