Hi our vanity was just installed in the bathroom.
You can see a crack line between the original sealant not sure what it is and the client s caulk.
The wall bows and there is a quarter inch gap or more between the vanity and tile.
Still not the clean look i was after but don t know what else to do.
The idea was to have it flush against the newly tiled wall so that we didnt need to install a backsplash.

I have a client that has been caulking a 3 16 gap between the backsplash of her countertop and the wall for a while.
The vanity top came with one backsplash for the back only i didn t want to use it as i preferred the tile look as a backsplash.
I got new granite counter tops and apparently the wall was not built straight but the granite back splash was cut straight so now i have a 3 8th inch gap in some places while it is flush in others.
When you install a vanity or floor cabinet some kind of gap between the counter and the wall or backsplash is almost inevitable.

Don t tell me to caulk the area the counter top is a spotted gray and walls are red so there isn t any caulk that i could buy that would look right besides filling that area.
